BECOMING A POOL EXPERT

We strive to provide each and every one of our customers with an outstanding customer experience. It’s not enough to be a competent and honest builder – we want to ensure that our customers feel like they’ve been taken care of every step of the way. This is why it’s so important to us that we are living up to the reputation we’ve worked so hard to establish over our 30 year history. What differentiates us from so many others is that we genuinely care about our customers wants, needs and concerns and work hard to make them feel like their issues are important and taken care of in a timely manner.

Pool & Spa News evaluated thousands of pool contractors across the nation last year and we were proudly selected for providing the best customer experience. This honor is especially important to our organization because it’s a testament to how hard we work to make sure that we are delivering on our promise to treat each and every one of our customers with the unparalleled level of service that they’ve come to expect from us. Don’t take our word for it though, just listen to what our customers think of our organization.

The three main types of inground swimming pools are:

Fiberglass pools, which typically offer faster installation but come in limited shapes.
Shotcrete / Gunite Pools which are high durable and can be created in any shape.
And finally Vinyl Liner Pools, which offer excellent value, fast installation, and high durability.

An Inground Spa isa permanent fixture that is usually built with gunite, fiberglass or vinyl. It can be fully customized and is usually designed with an inground pool in mind. The equipment for the spa is usually stored on the side yard of the house or building.

Pros

  • Far more options for customization
  • Usually placed next to a pool
  • Has a longer lifespan when cared for
  • Holds a higher value over its life
  • Adds aesthetic and uniqueness to your backyard

Cons

  • Usually more expensive than a above ground hot tub
  • Higher maintenance
  • Does not have fold over cover
  • Typically must be preheated

Above-ground pools come in two basic types: ring and frame. Ring pools, also known as “float to fill,” are commonly around 12 feet in diameter and 3 feet high. Made of heavy-duty vinyl, they get their name from an inflatable ring at the top of the pool, which rises as the pool fills with water and lifts the sidewalls into place. The filled pool is flask-shaped, wider at the bottom than the top for greater stability.

An above ground hot tub is a a prebuilt hot tub that can be placed in many different locations. It has all of its equipment built into the shell of the hot tub and can be moved if needed. Due to its portability it can be placed closer to a house than an inground spa.

Pros

  • Ergonomic seating to fit people of all sizes
  • Typically have around 50 jets
  • Requires less maintenance than an inground spa
  • Quicker to install
  • Typically has a lower monthly cost

Cons

  • Loses its value quicker than an inground Spa
  • Does not have the same aesthetics and beauty as an inground Spa
  • Limited to predetermined size and specs
  • Has a shorter lifespan than an inground spa
